Why does the Glass Shatter?
Why does the Glass Shatter?
All objects are made up of tiny particles that are very small for us to see.
Let’s see how glass is different from metal?
Metal: Tiny Particles cling to one another tightly, making it strong.
Glass: Tiny Particles cling to one another but there are places where the particles do not hold together firmly.
What happens if pressure is applied?
Metal: It may get a dent but does not break.
Glass: It breaks and scatters into pieces.
