Sodium Laureth Sulfate also commonly termed as Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES) or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) makes everything taste bad soon after you brush your teeth.
These chemicals are basically surfactants which create foam and aids in spreading the paste around your mouth.
How SLES and SLS affects the Taste Buds ?
They suppress the receptors which unables to percieve the sweetness of any drink. Also they break up the Phospholipids on our tongue which enhances the bitter taste.
Anything you taste after you brush your teeth is going to taste less sweet and more bitter.
